At Back Country Beijing we offer a unique two day one night camping adventure. We take you to pristine piece of Great Wall – not tainted by tourism or restoration.  Spend time hiking, taking pictures, or simply relaxing with a bottle of wine and taking in the breathtaking panoramas – its up to you. Groups are small and intimate, giving you the chance to meet like-minded travelers. Take the opportunity of being outside of the city to actually see the stars, relax around the fire and camp out at the base of the wall in tents. Eat food cooked at the campsite, snack on fire-roasted smores, as well as have the chance to indulge in a traditional home-cooked meal prepared for you by a Chinese family.  

Accompanying you will be two native-English speaking guides who are experienced outdoorsmen. Leave everything to us. We handle the transportation to and from the wall, carrying equipment, preparing food, setting up camp, and we’ll even tuck you in at night if you ask. All you have to do is enjoy yourself.
