Footwear: Trainers or sneakers are recommended. Sandals and open shoes are not suitable as the hike can be steep and rocky in certain areas.
Clothing: Bring comfortable clothing for hot weather. Beijing is a hot, dry climate – so the chance of rain is low, however keep an eye on the weather report for rain and prepare accordingly. Click Here - for updated weather information.
What we provide: All camping equipment will be provided – tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat, and cooking equipment. Three meals will be provided, as well as wine and some snacks to enjoy around the campsite.
Food: Lunch on the first day and brunch on the second day will be served at a local farmhouse. Dishes are fresh from the garden. Dinner will be prepared by our guides at the campsite. If you are a vegetarian, please notify us 2 days in advance of trip departure.
What To Bring: Hat, sunscreen, a change of clothing, personal snacks, camera and water.
What is Expected: You will be responsible for carrying your sleeping bag, sleeping mat, water and personal belongings. Our guides will carry all other equipment, and will be willing to assist you if needed. Setting up camp, gathering firewood and cooking and cleaning will be all handled by the guides, but any assistance would gladly be welcomed.
Safety: Your safety is our main concern, our vehicles are well maintained and our guides are first aid certified. Please notify us of any medical conditions or food allergies that we should be aware of.
